There are three companies that work out of the same office and has the same employees working for all of them - Terra Contracting, GALT Development & The Barricade Company. Address is 3611 West Tompkins Avenue., Las Vegas, NV 89103. Yes I am a former Employee and yes I regret ever working there! Not only am I the only one that hates or now hated it working there. Almost every single employee I spoke to while working there said they hated but needed a job or was just scared of the General Manager; Justin Anderson. All three of the companies - Terra, GALT & The Barricade CO. Are all owned by the same family. Ed McSwain is the owner as well as his wife Laura McSwain. Justin Anderson is Laura's son and he basically "runs the show" or whatever you want to say he does. Justin Anderson is the most disrespectful person I have ever worked for and yells and talks to the employees like there pieces of garbage! I was apart of the office staff but not only does everybody hate it there in the office but everyone employee that work in the Field or Superintendents hate it as well! On my first day, all I heard was how much everyone hates it there! Now lets start with Miko Hilgendorf. She is also very stuck up and acts the she owns the place. Well she doesn't, she is the General Manager of The Barricade Company. Also she is wrapped around Justin Andersons little finger. The point is, is if you are looking for employment or anything to do with construction, DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH Terra Contracting, GALT Development of The Barricade Co!!! You will highly regret it! Also if your looking for something that pays well, DO NOT WORK THERE the reason is the more you get paid, the worse you get talked too! And the pay is garbage. Also the environment there is extremely stressful, not just regular stress at work but from the second you get there to the minute you leave. CONSTANT VERBAL ABUSE, HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT, CONSTANT HARRASMENT & it gets worse the longer you stay! If you don't believe me, read the reviews on Indeed because there dated back to 2012.
