I had tn. trappers come out on 3/30/15 because I heard a squirrel in th attic I was told that I had a gap all the way around my house that would need to have drip edge installed if we only repair the exit hold they would go to the other side and get back in I also had a hole in one piece of siding on my porch. drip edge and repair to the siding was 2,600 plus trap fee 389.00 It just did not feel right so I called different trapping co. and l read a lot of information on the web. It said to trap and repair the hole should be between 500-700 dollars so I called Mike (owner) 2 times before he began the work he said if we did it like that he would have to come back because the squirrel would get back in because I had the gap all around my house he said I been doing this 5 years and only has 1 complaint.
He showed back up on 3/26 to start work they were here for 4 hrs. they put the vinly on the gable (2) and put up the drip edge and a trap on top of the roof he never said a word about the trap I happened to see it and started to check it each day It would have been 70.00 each time he came out to check it. I still did not trust him so I went to Lowes to price my material it wae less than 200.00 he charged me 7.15 a ft. for the drip edge it sells for 5.56 for 10ft. at lowes I needed 15 pieces (85.00) vinyl less than 30.00. He comes back on May 18th and said he had been out of town he was sorry it has taken so long he was having a hard time keeping employees and he was here to put the trap in place I said the trap has been up their for over three weeks he said it needs to be placed at the hole.
I told him not to put the trap up just fix the hole and be done I told him that I knew what the marerial cost was and that he made 2,400 I said I bet your paying this guy less than 15.00 a hr. He said trappers make anywhere 50.00-75.00 an hr. he explained his bill and how he wae right but I did not belive him the guy that put up the drip edge was not a trapper Not only did he not put up a trap up or fix my siding he sure did take the money. What does that say about this human being.
