I ordered a replacement battery for my laptop computer and provided the specific manufacturer and model number when ordering. Nevertheless, the company sent the wrong battery which did not fit my computer. When I asked for the process to return the battery, they asked me what battery they sent me (you would think they would know that). After I told them, they said it was the correct battery. When I replied that the battery connections did not fit into my computer, they then asked me for a photo of the battery and my computer since their manufacturer (which, of course, was somewhere in China), said it was the correct battery. Finally, after about a half dozen emails, they agreed to a refund and gave me an RMA number.
Several weeks after returning the batter via UPS, I had to follow-up with the company to ask where my refund was. Not surprisingly, I got a reply that they didn't receive the battery and asked for my tracking info. I checked my UPS receipt on UPS' website and it said the battery was delivered on December 9th and signed for by a "Daniella". I sent TechOrbits an email yesterday with the delivery information and today got a message that, in fact, the refund was processed yesterday. This would be a more or less acceptable result, except that I realized that the UPS delivery information I provided to TechOrbits was for another vendor and it wasn't for the battery I returned to TechOrbits at all.
