I did a google search to get a tax id # for my new business and this one looked pretty legit. i filled out the info and it told me it would cost $120 to process this request. i wasnt sure about the cost so i checked out another website. i filled out the info for it also and they said it would cost around $140 so i went ahead and did it for $120. the next day i was telling my brother and he said that its free to file for a tax id # on the IRS website.
i feel like these companies charging so much is a complete ripoff and they should be stopped
