I ordered 17 plants from Summerstone Nusery on the internet January 25, 2015. I had to keep calling them because, they never sent them ans, I almost forgot. They finally shipped them out march 27, 2015. My total invoice is $101.45 and only three of them are still living. The company says i have to return the dead plants to get new ones because, they do not do refunds. I have a box sitting here with a bunch of dead sticks in it ready to be mailed. I am so unhappy about the plants dying because, I took really good care of them and some of them were already dead when I receievd them. I have a green thumb and, the neigbors always come to me for help. I just really want my money back
Read all their "promises" and thought it looked like a good deal. Wrong. They only sent part of the order and that all dead. Made a report to the Better Business Bureau. Might as well have set my money on fire. Not only did I lose what I sent them but I lost money on mulch, fertilizer and lost time. I can't afford to replace the plants and I'm not getting any younger.
I purchased $284+ worth of plants from this company. The plants arrived completely dead. Not one survived. I requested a refund via phone, via email, and via the BBB. They screen their emails only answering and acknowledging the ones requesting to purchase items. Their phone lines are constantly busy, and when they are not, you are made to hold for more than 30 minutes typically. When you get someone on the other line, they refer you to their manager who is conveniently busy and you are told that they will return your call. But they never do. I called their local police department who said that this should be a federal case. I am working with a lawyer to make a case. Hundreds of others across the nation have very similar experiences as I. Simply look up Summerstone Nursery's reviews. I hope to put the owners away for a long time. All over ~$300.00. The principal is worth everything.
Sent for (4) dog wood trees for the price of $53.30 total. I ordered late in the spring and instead of them saying thay had nothing but dead trees left they sent them out. The fruit tree 5 in 1 came thin and sad looking.
The plant of Bleeding Heart with the branch looked like an evergreen tree.
I have given the nursery the benefit of doubt and waited from 12/10/2014 till 2/24/2015.
Not one leave appeared on the tree nor plant.
I asked for a refund and said it is impossible, they said for me to return the plants for replacement.
After I searched the BBB and found out this site had multiple complaints against them over the past years.
How can someone rip good honest citizens their hard earn money, time and energy?
This nursery should not be in business any further.
