Stripe accepted to process a credit card payment and failed to transfer in the promised timeframe, followed by canceling our account. On 06/21/2015, we set up an account with Stripe to process credit card payment. There is a 7 day waiting period for transferring funds from a newly established account. Stripe processed a credit card payment for $92,994.20 and displayed that the funds will be transferred on or by 06/29/2015.
For this transaction they took a $2,697.13 processing fee for themselves. The problem is that it's now the end of 06/29/2015 and the money is still not in my account, on their website it still shows the money is pending transfer, I have contacted them three times in the last 48 hours and have NOT received a single response.
I have supplied all their requested paperwork and they didn't even have the audacity to hold up their end of the transaction. They took a $2,697.13 basically for nothing, as they have already collected interest on OUR funds that they still have not transferred to us. Where's the money??
THIS COMPANY HAS STOLEN MY IDENTITY AND MADE FALSE CLAIMS TO IRS USING MY PERSONAL INFORMATION. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS PLACE BEFORE UNTIL IRS RESENTLY CONTACT ME STATING I DIDNT REPORT INCOME MADE THROUGH THIS COMPANY WHICH IS VERY UNTRUE. IDENTITY THEFT IS REAL PEOPLE BE AWARE I DONT KNOW HOW THESE FOLK EVEN COME ACROSS MY INFORMATION USELESS THEY ARE HACKERS AND A FRAUDULENT COMPANY. Well I am a small business owner that serviced local customers and decided to get into the ecommerce market. I decided to use stripe as a form opf accepting payments when i created my website through Bigcommerce. What a sad mistake.
Today 03/20/2015 I lost $6800 dollars in inventory because stripe closed my account and refunded my customers for items that where already shipped and delivered.
I begged stripe to not do such a thing because it would kill my business and I even supplied proof of delivery but to no avail.
I should have known something was wrong when I realize that they dont have a telephone number. I am guessing that stripe isnt even located in the united states. Now i am concerned that these customers will never get refunded and I lost all my money and stripe kept it. Please stay away from this company. Your business is as good as dead if you use them.
I need a lawyer to contact me so I can sue the living daylights out of these people.
