I would like to make everyone aware of this company and the fraud that they perpetuated on the Houston club industry last night, Saturday August 16th, by promoting a fake event featuring Iggy Azalea to appear at Limelight Houston nightclub.
Iggy Azalea never made an appearance as was promoted and these promoters charged over $20 a ticket through sites such as eventbrite.com or other sites to promote the event and assured everyone that Iggy Azalea would be making an appearance.
It was complete fraudulent promotion and false advertising as Iggy Azalea never even posted on her twitter or facebook pages or instagram that she was going to be in Houston and/or would be making an appearance at this Limelight nightclub and obviously was either unaware of this event or had no intention of appearing at it.
Instead of issuing a public apology to everyone about it fessing up to their scam, the Sticky Promotions team just wants to avoid talking about it and simply stated for "everyone to stop crying about it" and move on.
It was a complete scam and these promoters should not be in business or allowed to promote at any future events or bars/clubs in Houston or any other location for that matter. They completely scammed everyone out of their money and charged exorbitant fees for tables for the night which those patrons can't get back now and wouldn't have spent that kind of money if not expecting Iggy Azalea to perform or show at the club.
No one should ever attend another event promoted by this company and they should be put out of business.
