I was stalled on Hwy 7 and waiting for my boyfriend to stop by so he could help me with my car. About 5 minutes after I called him, a cruiser pulls up and a cop gets out and asks why I pulled over on the side of the road. I told him the car Is old and It has a lot of problems, my boyfriend will be here In a few minutes to help. He then asked for my drivers license. I wasn't even driving the flipping car! He asked if I've ever had a history of mental or nervous break downs. I said no. Why are you asking me these questions sir? He said that it is standard protocol. He goes back to his cruiser and calls for flipping back up! A flipping tahoe cruiser shows up and another cop comes to the passenger side of my car while the other officer is talking to me on my drivers side! The cop on my passenger side asked me to open the door. I asked if he had a warrant. He said something about line of sight and said he sees a suspicious bag. I said sir unless you have a warrant to search my car, I am not opening my car door. The two cops went back to their vehicles and talked, while I sat there for about twenty minutes! Finally my boyfriend showed up and the cops asked who he was. He said he was with me and was there to help with my car. They asked to see his identification believe it or not! He gave it to them and they went back to their cruisers and told my boyfriend to stand in a certain spot. He did, but he wasn't happy about it! Then the cops asked where we planned on going. I said with all due and respect sir, that's none of your business. They gave me back my drivers license and did a pat search on my boyfriend before they got back in their cruisers and left! What kind of bs is this? I'm sorry but that was nothing but harassment! In my opinion these officers should be suspended without pay! What happened to the right of privacy and the fourth Amendment? The cops in Duncan and Stephens County are the most corrupt officers in Oklahoma! They've been known to place people under surveillance without a warrant, they've been known to search homes without warrants! They've also been known to go into homes and businesses while the owner or renter is away! They lie about individuals and say they're in possession of drugs when they're not, or they lie and say that certain individuals are pedophiles or have illegal weapons just to get them put away or sent to Taliferro in Lawton! Somebody needs to investigate these corrupt arseholes!! Somebody who has the power to investigate them! You might be surpised at what you find!
