Bought a 2013 Stealth Intruder. Was built in December 2012 and I bought it in Feb of 2013. Left it at the dealer until the end of march when the roads were clear of salt and brought it home. It stayed in the yard until may when I went to use it for the first time. Found the paint on the frame cracking and when I pulled a chunck of paint off it was all surface rust. Took it in for warrenty for the first time, had to get tghe whole underside painted. Also found around 12 screw heads missing, also there was interior trim coming off that needed repair. They had snapped off, and at this point the trailer had mayby 50 miles on it. The second time was for The taile light screws had rusted in half and the tail lights were just hanging. The third time was for the rear drop down door frame rusting. The trailer has never been on the roads in the winter with salt on the road. The trailer has around 500 miles on it and I have owned it for a year now. It looks like a five or six year old trailer. I paid 7800 dollars and what a waist of money. This trailer I'm afraid it will fall apart in five years. The frame is showing rust again. When I was up to the dealer this last time picking up the trailer. The manager told me that Stealth changed the paint for the frames of the trailer and found that it was not protecting the frames from moister. I called Stealth and when I asked if they would make it right and possibly build me a new trailer and trade me, so I wouldnt have a new trailer with a rusted frame, Ed with warranty said that they would not build a trailer just for me.
I would stay away from this company, they know they had a problem and will not own up to there mistake and make it right for there customers. So now i'm stuck with a New $7800 trailer and looks like a used trailer. Price does not include tax, title, and licensing.
