This is a mortgage mill, they purchased my Morgage along with 1000 others around Sept 2014. I am one of the few that actually want this property foreclosed and the customer service is very rude. I have called them Sept 14, Oct 14 and Feb 15. They are so lazy to give me information, that they actually gave me the number to the foreclosure lawyer and told me to ask them my questions. I called the lawyers at " Kelley Harvey" and they had no answers either.
The property is located in Texas and was given to my Ex-husband in the divorce( 2009), I did a quick deed and everything I was suppose to, but I am being punished because he decides he can't afford the house(2012) The house has been empty for 2 years and he is $57,000 behind, but yet they still don't want to foreclose on the property.
They say they are protecting Veterans, but my EX husband has not lived in the house or paid property taxes or insurance in 2 years, not to mention I am a Veteran that actually pays my bills and I have my own home to pay for. I may lose my Government job because my credit can't recover until they finally foreclose on this house that I have been begging every collection agency that has had the property the past 2 years, but they won't do it. Don't I have any rights?
They have never contacted me, written me or asked me to pay this debt, they barely want to talk to me when I call them for information.
I think they are waiting for the housing market to go up before they sell, its the only reason you let someone go $57,000 behind in their mortgage payments and you do nothing about it.
If I still lived in Texas, I would have moved into the house rent free and waited for someone to come throw me out.
Why are there not better laws or considerations made when people get DIVORCED?
