Stacie Simmons who was taking care of Jane Grant, Alzheimer Patient, 4700 Riverview Rd. Atlanta, Georgia, was on drugs. When asked by her employer, Jerome Hoffman, to take a test for drugs, she said “of course.” When she arrived at the lab, she was informed that it would not be a urine test, but would be a test from her scalp, a piece of hair. She immediately got up and walked out because she knew what the test would show positive.
Stacie many times during the night would leave Jane alone and take off around 11 at night and come back 3 in the morning, she had done this numerous time. We had camera equipment throughout the house and we were shocked to see how she took care of the patient and her lack of responsibility as a student nurse.
She had a downstair apartment in our home and would sleep until 9 or 10 in the morning and Jane was left alone.
She was also involved in one way or another, with Erik Owen Leavell, who is a disbarred attorney in Florida, who she allowed to come into our home, and Erik stoled a number of company documents and private documents. Stacie knew that Erik was going through private documents when in the house and did nothing about it, therefore it is my belief that she participated directly or indirectly, in stealing documents from our home. Erik Owen Leavell has been in prison for physical criminal assault, plus stealing clients' money which he was disbarred for, and there is a website on him.
Ann Herrera, of the firm of Russell & Herrera, P.C., the attorney Atlanta, appointment by the court, to take care of Jane's asset, was informed about Stacie's behavior and did nothing about it. One has to question why. Ann Herrera was also informed the history about Erik Owen Leavell and she has not responded.
This information has been given to the various agencies in the state of Georgia who governed the licenses of nursing.
