On March 5th, I made a saree purchase worth Rs 10,500 via www.srihitaexports.com to be delivered to Hyderabad(which is the same city as their branch office). I followed up with hem via email as of how much time they would take to deliver the product. They replied about 2-3 weeks. Since it wasn’t very urgent for me I gave it almost a month’s time and followed up. Here the point to highlight is they are never actively responsive on emails and don’t answer phone calls even during open hours. I started sending emails more frequently n they kept buying time. Almost after 3 months they say that the saree I ordered is unavailable and send me other sarees’ pics to choose from.
I said I’m not interested in buying any other saree and decently asked them to refund the money.
They asked for some time to communicate with the management. I usually give a little more time than that is asked for. No matter how many emails I sent after that, they hardly respond and every time it is the same response that they have informed the management. I looked up on facebook for Kamakshi Mahamkali who is the so-called ‘CEO’ of this business and messaged her on Facebook bringing the issue to her notice(if she was really the head of the business, she should’ve been aware of what is going on internally), but the sad part was she wasn’t even aware of what was going on till I forwarded her the chain of emails(about 30-35 emails in almost 5 months).
She said she would get back in 2 days and just disappeared(this happened more than 2 weeks ago, today date being July 24th). Her response is what disgusted me the most. She would be active on facebook posting selfies, checking in at restaurants, etc etc but didn’t have the minimum sense to address the issue that is on the way to bring bad reputation. I do a lot of online shopping and every time I came across polite and responsible business firms. Once I made a purchase from another firm, but they found out the piece was faulty and before I even send out a follow up email, they sent me an apology email, cancelled my order and gave a refund the very next day. Now that is called a genuine business person. This shitty woman and her firm has been my biggest mistake to make a purchase from. The staff keeps telling that we have informed our ‘madam’ and ‘sir’ and they take care of the monetary issues and here she is shamelessly displaying her irresponsibility and I have no sign of any refund yet! PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIER ITEMS OR DO ANY ONLINE TRANSACTIONS WITH THIS WEBSITE. THEY ARE FRAUDULENT AND A COMPLETE RIPOFF, YOU WILL REPENT ONCE YOU DID.
