We have done business with Sprint Wireless according to them since 2004.
In actuality we've been with them since 2002
In December of 2012 we were notified via mail that Sprint was going to discontinue the IDENT services that they had sold us for Nextel phone usage. They had previously sent m a notice that if I didn't cancel by a certain date they were going to charge me an extra $50.00 per month to continue to use this phone then shut it off in 6 mos anyway.
On going to the local outlet we were then told that we could drop the Nextel service and be issued a Sprint cell phone and this would not affect nor extend our 2 year contract.
On 03/28/14 my wife contacted Sprint to begin to do an upgrade on our cell phones and on doing so was advised that we could upgrade my Sprint Phone but that she couldn't upgrade hers due to the fact that the contract wouldn't be up until Aug. of 2014.
My wife began to contest this and we made plans to go to the office that night.
At approx 1530 on the 28th I received a call at work from a Sprint representative that if we couldn't change our plan due to the contract. While talking to this representative he advised that he wasn't from the local office and he began to get rude when I told him that he would have to deal with my wife who had initiated this so that information wasn't mixed up.
The representative then had the audacity to begin to threaten me that they were going to force us to buy out the contract. I informed him that I didn't like his attitude and didn't have to take it then hung up on him.
Later that day we did go to the local Sprint office and spoke with the manager who advised my wife to contact Sprint to straighten out the problem with her not being able to upgrade which she did.
On 0412/14 we again returned to the local Sprint office in response to their call to my wife that the phone that she was waiting for had arrived. We went into the store that night and on beginning to start the process of purchasing the phone we were then told that I couldn't upgrade as my phone wasn't eligible until Aug of 201, this was a complete turnaround round of what print had initially told us and leading back to the FORCED exchange of my Nextel which we had been told would not be held against us.
We attempted for 2 hoursto deal with this and during this time my wife was hung up on, placed on hold for 20 to 30 minutes at a time and eventually was given the ultimatums of we could do the easy pay plan on my phone which would forcing us to pay full price for the phone - or we could pay $100.00 and then they would allows us to upgrade.
Again and of this was based on the FORCED exchange of the NEXTEL/IDENT phone with Sprint and when done we were told that we wouldn't be extending our contract, per the sale rep there would be NO contract as it was a FORCED exchange, yet now somehow Sprint is stating that there was a contract done at the time of the FORCED exchange.
If Sprint did a contract at the time of the exchange we were at no time presented with any paperwork or copy of this contract.

This company lied to me and my wife 7-8 times over the last 2 weeks plus not to meantion the sprint store where I bought this rip off. They pushed on me a I phone 5s with a home phone service,... They said it was going to be $99 a month total. The first bill comes in $243.00!!!!!!!!!!!! I freaked out and my wife called them and they said it was a double bill and then every month the bill would be $130.00 with rip off taxes... I cannot afford this I said and I put it on ebay for sell as many folks do with transfer of service...
We sold the phone 3 times and the buyers did not read the big print comes with contract and must be transfered, then the one buyer tried to get me to cancel the contract and would pay $150 for the phone only.... The fees are $200 and $350.00 plus taxes as I just found out and I did cancel the phone service both after I sold the phone for a 3rd time for $430 and the person has the phone,
it is useless to them, and we have to give the money back to the person because we were lied to by trash sprint and origionally they said service would end on 04/06/13 then the buyer could use the phone once the fees were paid, $500 worth of fees. So then I find out tonight the fees are $700! No way can these fees be paid and now we have to refund the customer and get a negative feedback on ebay on my flawless 5 star rating and then my credit is going to go to hell.
I am going to sue sprint if I can find an attorney they lied once too many times to me and my wife, my wife has a bad heart and they were so ignorant on the phone they are going to get hit with the biggest lawsuit I dont care what I have to spend. After all the hell they caused me and my wife and the lies, deception and trickery... They can just cancel those fees and I will not sue but if they want to play ball, then baby I'm ready to play lets rock and roll.. I just say to anyone stay away from sprint and all contracts they are rediculus to get out of.
