Beware of the Service/Parts Department at Spradley Barr Honda Dealership in Laramie, WY. The parts/service manager at Spradley Barr is very dishonest and he lies about prices.
I went in to purchase a replacement part at Spradley Barr (a part that I buy every 3 months) and ask about a service on my Honda Odyssey. To be clear, when I bought my van brand new the dealer said my first major service would be at XX,XXX miles. So i asked the Spradley Sparr parts/service manager when the first major service on the van should be and he told me at 15,000 miles, almost 5 times less than the factory suggested mileage. I told him what was told to me when i bought the car and he started backtracking and said, "well that's right but we just want to be sure you are safe."
The Spradley Sparr manager in Laramie then got mad at me when i told him i did not know the mileage on the van because I did not drive it. He kept asking and was very rude.
When I told him I did not want my car serviced by Spradley Barr he was very sour and looked at his computer with anger as he "rung up" my replacement parts. He then told me the price would be $100 for the parts, double the normal price. I told him that was not the right price and he very rudely spat back at me saying that it was right.
I asked him if there was any discount or anything he could do and the Spradley Barr Laramie manager said no.
I told him no thanks and right in front of him i bought the item on amazon for $45 with prime 2 day shipping. He told me he might be able to bring the price down but I told him where to go.
Spradley Barr Honda in Laramie Wyoming by the University is very dishonest and they lie about everything. Beware of the service manager at Spradley Barr. Go somewhere else.
