I was fired Veterans day because I sent an email to the CEO of Sparq Inc. a NM Corporation doing business here in Phoenix as a residential solar company.
I was told by Don Rodriguez the CEO and one of the Principles of Sparq:
IN LIGHT OF THE LAST EMAIL YOU SENT DEMANDING PAST DUE AND CURRENT WAGES...YOU ARE FIRED!! YOU NEED TO GET YOUR STUFF AND GET OUT.
So much for standing up for your employees legal rights to past due and current wages owed.
As Former General Manager my employees and their rights come first. Period
In the emails sent, it was explained that the company is operating illegally, due to the wage and labor laws in AZ and a PDF was enclosed of the wage and labor laws of our state for the CEO'S review.
This CEO and all the investors and share holders are going to let the employees who built this division, possibly lose their home, get evicted ( a single mom with child ) and a father of 5 with his wife, face eviction and lose the auto's they took loans out for to survive the last 2 1/2 months..
Vendors were getting paid, Bills were getting paid, Officers were recieving compensation,
while their employees go with out thousands of dollars in past due wages.
This is corporate America, hiding behind it's wall of lawyers and paper legalese.
My former employees and I really believed in this company and the people that run it.
Belief is like hope, either way you lose.
I CANNOT BELIEVE I STOOD UP FOR MY RIGHTS AND THE RIGHTS OF OTHERS AND WAS FIRED FOR IT.
