I purchased a Windows7 Professional (full version) 64bit/32bit software from Side Micro. In the last week the computer in which I installed this product stated that their was an issue with the activation key.
After contacting Microsoft more than once, they state the activation key is invalid. I purchased (2) of this same OS and so far only 1 activation key is invalid.
Both purchases were online as well, with the ability to download the iso file and install.
I ordered a refurbished dell computer with windows 7 pro which was advertised to come with a new battery. the battery was not new and would not even hold a charge. i called and they said they would send a new battery. it never came even though i called and left messages multiple times. i also discovered that the windows kept giving me a message indicating it was not genuine so although it appeared to have a real authorization that too must be fake. after two months i gave up. at the time i only found good reviews of this company and did not find this website. that was nearly a year ago now.
On 12/16/14 I purchased COA (product key for Win7 Pro from sidemicro.com because of good reviews listed as well as price. Last week MS listed my key as an illegal version. Tried contacting supplier by email & phone with no answer to either. Seeing other reports for this company I guess was a rip off! Contacted bank today to have charges reversed.
I ordered a copy of Windows 8.1 64 bit Media & Key. After 2 weeks of not receiving what I had paid for I emailed them asking for status. Whoever it was that was answering my emails didn't address any concerns and would reply using only a few words of "yes we will". I gave it another 2 days and emailed SideMicro again asking for status only to have a reply that my order status was changed from shipped (was never shipped) to refunded.
Since then I've disputed the charge on my CC and am awaiting my refund.
On 12/16/14 I made an order from sidemicro.com for a 8.1 microsoft 64bit operating system. I payed $85.00 using my paypal account. I received an email saying that my order was shipped on 12/17/14. I have been trying to contact them by phone and email concerning my order and delivery date. I have asked for and not received a tracking number. At this point I'm questioning the validity of this company? Not sure what I can or should do next? Any suggestion would be appreciated.
I ordered a pair of product key/COA combo packages for Windows 7 Pro on Nov. 21st. The details said the product keys would be E-mailed, and the hardcopy COAs would follow by postal mail in 3-5 business days. My Visa card was charged $110 ($55 per key) within minutes of my order, so I (foolishly, it turns out) assumed everything was OK.
Tuesday the following week rolls around, and still no keys or hardcopy COAs. Over the rest of that week, and after the Thanksgiving holiday, I made no fewer than three attempts to contact SideMicro by phone, and one attempt at E-mail via the contact form on their web site.
None of those attempts produced the slightest response.
I have since filed a charge dispute with my Visa card issuer for non-receipt of merchandise. Let my experience serve as a warning to others: DO NOT buy from SideMicro.com! Yes, they seem to have a lot of positive reviews, in various locations, but I am now beginning to wonder if those reviews are real or were written by SideMicro-paid shills.
