On Feb 25th I recieved and email from Brian Degnan from Shore auto transport saying he was able to transport my car from Maine to South Fla. When we spoke i explained i had a deadline to get the car to South Florida and that i needed to make sure that it would be on a truck by the following Wedensday, Brian assured me that there was going to be noproblem with this and i shoukd sign the contracts to get the car on the board for disptach. I signed the contracts right away and the car was supposly put on the board. Then when i confrimed with Brian he recieved the papers he said i would hear from someone on the following tuesday with the details of the transport.
The Tuesday came and i did not hear from anyone. When i called brian said his disptacher was working on it and i should hear later that day. Well later that day i heard nothing and i called. Brian did not have any answers for me and he transffered me to the disptach department. I was told they were doing everything they could do but because of the wheather they could not get a truck to transport the car. While on the phone with the disptacher i was told to give them a couple of more days and the car would be moved. A couple of days passed and not a word from this company. I had to call every other day and discuss what was going on with the order. Everyday i was told that the wheather was the hold up.
Finally two weeks later they called me to tell me that the car was dispatched for 50.00 more then the orginal price that i was quoted. The car was going to be picked up on a monday and to me in south Fla by thrusday. I agreeded. Well when monday came no truck came to pick up the car. I spoke with the driver and he claimed he wasin Mass stuck because of the snow and would be there the next day. The next day came no call from the driver and no truck. I called back the disptacher at Shore and he said he would look into it.
Then i got a call from the driver that said he was in NH and he would be in maine on thrusday to pick up my car. On thrusday i did not recieve a call nor did i hear from anyone. I called back Shore and they wee going to look into it. When i got the call back from Shore they gave me the name and number or the trucking company that was supposley movingmy car. I called the owner and he said he had to fire the driver of that load and he could not locate the truck and none of his employees were returning his phone calls.
I called Shore explained the sistuation and cancelled the order and asked for a refund. They explained that this has never happend to them and they had no issues refunding my money. 4 weeks later no refund. When we called to asked about the refund i was told that it takes a whole billing cycle and i was sent a email confiriming my refund. Now still no refund and when we called they are claiming they sent a truck and that it was us that was not ready for the truck.
This compnay is a total scam and a waste of time. They will take your money and not live up to the end of their contract.
