I signed a 6 month contract to advertise at two locations. 5 months in I sent a Cancel E-mail to Dana as she requested. In Dec I was billed $347.50 for both contract renewls. My contract was from June to Dec 31. and was for a total of $1895.00 So far I have paid $2092.55 and I just recieved a bill for $450.00 more! I have called customer service and faxed them a copy of the e-mailed cancel notice, they say I am due a refund. But will not drop the new contract and contue to bill me???
I would like to cancel the ad in DEC and not renew it. When I spoke with my first Rep we talked about how this will just be a trial run, we were going to see how many customers i would get from doing this. And we only got 1 customer and the rep himself. So i would not like to renew the ad. Thank you
Adcart/ShopperLocal representitive named Eddie Bing came to my resturant (Francescos') a local Italian place to presnet to me a contract stating that my resturant ad will be displayed on Shop Rite grocery carts from December - June. I was very intrested in this advertisment for my busines since Shop Rite is the busiest grocery store in the area, and my ad would be displayed over the holiday period. Eddie asked me to take some pictures and send them over to him via email or picture text. This way comsumers would see what food is being displayed and the info for my place of business. I sent him numerous emails and text. He did not respond the way I thought he would. He just told me ok. The first week of Decmber came about and I was overly excited to see my ad on the carts. I went over to the Shop Rite and did not see my ad, the first week went by then the second. My concern started to grow. I went everyday to see the carts and got nothing. I tried to reach out to Eddit to see what the problem was withnot having the ad on the carts, his response was nothing. I tried email, voicemail, and text to the company and his personal phone. At this point I have grown fustrated not with only the ad not being displayed but the professionalism of a huge company and no one being able to get back to me. I paid my intaial installment for this ad to be up in Decmeber, and it was not. I was told by some other representive that due to weather issues my ad will be delayed. I told them that the most crucial time is December before the holiday. I was very disappointed. I went almost everday to check in December and tried to reach out to the company and I received nothing, my cart ad was finally displayed after the new year I believe the first day I saw them was January 9. It is not the money that I am upset about its the principel and the disrespect that I was given. This company ripped me off with a contract; I just do not want it to happen to anyone else. My business is small and I depend on local advertisment to help me out. I am an honest man who trusted the wrong people.

I resolved a complaint with ShopperLocal through BBB. However, after I accepted the resolution they have billed me AGAIN! for services NEVER provided. I Feb of 2013 I was solicited by Jomayne Reister of ShopperLocal to buy ad space on the back of BiLo grocery store receipts. I Ordered two (2) diferent ads at that time, and was told I would reach 20,000 plus reciepts per week. Unfortunately Shopperlocal could not uphold their contractual obligation to me. I checked BiLo receipts for months, expecting to see my very expensive ads. They did not materialize, however I was billed twice the amount (double billed) for several months. Even after contacting the company and informing them of this issue they did not resolve it. I reached out to the management at BiLo and was able to look through hundreds of receipt paper rolls. My ads were not on there. Several months later, and after dozens of calls, we did see one of our ads printed. However, the promotion that it detailed had passed and we were no longer able to honor the coupon. Less than 100 ads were printed (nowhere near 20,000 per week) In fact, the only ads on most of the receipts were for ShopperLocal, offering to sell ad space. We did file a complaint with the BBB in July 2013 (case# 11085856) We were then contacted by a lady name Jori. She informed us that due to a printing mistake our ads did not print, and offered to print them and run them in the coming months. We refused this resolution since the promotion the ads were for was over, and there was no need. We agreed to end our business with ShoppeLocal, and that we would no longer be billed. I was satisfied to be done with this ordeal, and considered the case resolved. I didn't persue my BBB complaint any further. In December of 2013 we started receiving collection notices stating that unless we paid $660 more then our account would be sent to collections, and reflected on my personal credit. They have also threatens to take legal action against me, even though they are the ones did not fulfill their contractual obligation. I receive 3-5 letters weekly, and numerous calls from ShopperLocal on a daily basis. They are no longer on the receipts at BiLo, so apparently we are not the only company that had issues with them. DO NOT do business with ShopperLocal! I have had enough of the threats and harassment from this company and am now going to devote my time and resources to making their business practices known through every avenue available.
