The sheriff of Onslow County NC. Rules his kingdom with an iron hand. His staff is constantly threatened with dismisal or Jail duty. Inmates are allowed no access to a newspaper or for that matter no reading material at all. EXCEPT, the bible. While I cannot see the harm in reading the bible I do see harm in the fact that that is all there is. I feel it is a breech of the constitution and should not be allowed to happen.
I found recently, that a sheriff has more power than any living soul( in his little kingdoms) including the president of the United States. That is why Joe A. gets away with his abuse in AZ. A sheriff has no Boss!!!! Except on election day.
If there is anyone reading this from Onslow County NC Please join a group to rid ourselves of this little dictator. I for one have started working on that very thing. But we need lots of help down here in the bible belt.
Sounds like I am against religion huh? NOT so . But, should it not be your choice? even when you are locked up and at someones mercy?
Ed Brown, is so very incompedent he let a murderer walk out of his county because" he was seen talking with the woman he, murdered 4 days before the act." She had a restraining order to keep this guy away from her. But did that matter to ED Brown? NO...... He likes to keep women in their place.
The morale among his staff is in the dumpster. He works one hour a day. from 9:00 am -10:00 am But somehow the last 10 times I have called him he was in a big meeting. He has been in office since 1990, voted in by innocent church people who don't know what he is really like. He gotten very fat from this poorly fed land and needs to be replaced.
