I purchased a 2002 Mercedes Benz C230 on January 24, 2015 using a check. I followed up on January 31st asking why I had not received the title yet. They responded that it takes a minimum of 2 weeks to receive the title in the mail.
I again followed up at 2 weeks. I was told the person who processes the title was not in the office. They took my phone number and promised to call me back.
I again followed up at 3 weeks. I was told the person who processes the title was ill and would not be in the office. I asked at what time I could stop in and pick up the title. They hung up on me.
I followed up at 3 weeks and 2 days. I was told the person that processes the titles was not in the office to call back in 2 hours. When I called back I recieved the same story.
I Followed up the next day. I received the managers name but no commitment to deliver the title.
I went to Cars.com to leave a review of the dealer. When I described my experience I found a review from a customer in Loveland Ohio who also had not received their title. This increased my conerns.
