I came to buy a 2007 Nissan Maxima from select luxury motors on Tuesday, 5/25/14. After I test drove the car I noticed the air bag light flashing, the tire pressure light on, and that the air conditioner wasn't working. I told them in order for us to complete this sale they needed to fix those 3 issues. So he took my car to get the a/c fixed and put air in the tire and offered me a 3 month/ 3000 mile warranty to rectify the air bag light, to which I accepted. Once I got in my car to pull off the lot I noticed the car was sputtering as if it needed a tune up or maintenance. I brought the sputtering to their attention and they responded by saging "the car has been sitting just drive it and it will stop." I told them the car needs work I can tell and I told them I was taking it to Nissan tomorrow to have them look at it and if anything was major wrong with it I was bringing it back.
So as I was pulling out the lot to go home, the service engine light came on and the car stopped accelerating. I turned around immediately and took it back to them and told them I didn't want the car. Long story short,the owner contacted me that same day and promised me a loaner car from their lot and that the car would be fully fixed and ready to go when I came back to pick it up, and that I would have the option to drive it first before agreeing to go forward with the purchase. He also said that if I decided not to purchase the vehicle that I would be given a ride home, I agreed to that because it seemed fair.
So today, thursday, 5/27/14, I was called to come drive the car because it was ready, so when I drove it about 3 miles around the area it seemed to be fine, so i finalized everything and took delivery of the car. On my way home, within 10 minutes of me getting on the interstate, the service engine light came back on and the car made a noise and quickly stopped accelerating. I called the dealership to come pick me up and refund me my money and for my ride home I was promised. Once they came to get me, they brought me back to the dealership and told me one moment and went outside to help a customer that was looking. I had to go get the salesman and demand firmly, my money back to which he stomped over with an attitude and tried to give me a portion of my money back, to which I started getting frustrated, so he gave me the full amount, then told me to find my own way home. This has been the worst, most time consuming, money wasting situation I've ever been in. Now I'm sitting outside of their office stranded waiting on a ride while they are right inside looking at me. I have never been more furious in my life. Do not buy from them...BEWARE!!!!!
