Was told to get online and set up calls for a inmate, was guided to www.securustech.net tried the $14.99 billing and was charged $69.64 twice with in 4 days.
Tried calling the company only to get answering machine with no return calls so time to do something about this since the inmate still has not been able to use the service yet that is to be unlimited.
Now the only way to stop this is to cancel my bank account information and start over which is wrong why cant we talk to whom ever is doing this. Not a happy camper especially when i cant afford this.
I don't know where to begin. I don't know if anyone will ever read this. This company is the worst I have been lied to, hung up on, had money taken from me, wasted my life on hold sometimes hours at a time for no help. Mangers ignore transferred calls, reps won't listen and then talk over you continually give attitude. The video visitations start late and you never get refunds. Why haven't they opened a competitive company. The service is sad, the quality is disappointing, the people are disgusting, the prices are outrageous. Have inmates so the customer service Betty they would do a better job. If everyone stopped using them hopefully they would get bought out our go belly up. I pay these people's pay checks and they treat me worst then the most foul thing in this universe.
Im sorry to say but this is highway robbery to call someone who hasnt even committed near the same crime . Its 6. 95 to add money EVERY time even if you have a positive account balance . I realize do the crime do the time ..but most of us on t F*** WTF!! This company NEEDS to be evaluated based on NUMEROUS REPORTS!
This company solicits merchants for credit card processing. Their sales agents pitch a program that they claim will drastically reduce monthly processing fees. The program is contingent on an equipment agreement. The equipment agreement is actually a 48 month lease, which in most states is non cancellable.
The rip off is that the quoted savings is unrealistic. The company makes fraudulent claims that they can save merchants hundreds of dollars per month on processing, but in reality, the processing fees from Securus are higher than what the merchant was paying before.
Unfortunately, once the business owner discovers that the new program is a rip off, they are locked in a contract and a lease agreement that they can't terminate.
This company monopolizes the inmate phone system and takes advantage of people that have loved ones in jail and want to communicate with them. They are similar to predatory lenders taking advantage of people that are already in a bad situation.

This company even is harrassing me now for immediate payment. How could I owe them money when all calls required prepayment. They said it is because I used a cell phone to make the calls and there is an extra charge to use a cell phone. This sounded ridiculous to me since there fees awere so high and why wouldn't it have been included? I thought I was rid of this company when my loved one was no longer in jail. There was no mention when I prepaid calls in their automated system that I would be getting charged more in the future because I was using a cell phone.
