Called to cancel my subscription and saw they charged my account 1.00 again, a s med for refund on the 29.95 due to my phone broke and couldn't get into email to cancel. Was told they filled a report and I was denied,do to I couldn't get into my email it screwed my account . But I'm suppose to get refund on the 1.00 , it was charged the day I cancelled my subscription.go figure suppose to help find credit scores and you get slammed with double charge
I simply went to the "Free Credit Score" website, and was somehow re-directed (evidently) to these clowns at ScoreSense.com Unaware that they have been charging my account for the last 10 months, I finally noticed it today and reported it to my credit union. $29.95 per month for absolutely nothing!
I worked at a call center that received phone calls for scoresense, mostly from people that wanted to cancel because they had no idea they were going to be charged a $30 a month.
Here are easy steps to get your membership cancelled:
1. If you aren't wanting a refund and just want to cancel. Once the agent has verified your info and has your account up just state you want to cancel and hang up to avoid the sales push. The agent is required to cancel your account. (You can call back to verify its been cancelled if you are unsure)
2. If you want to cancel and want a refund you must insist..the agent will try to be your friend and try to keep you as a member..to avoid this B.S. in erupt the agent and insist they cancel you. You may have to say cancel to get them to shut up.
As for the refund, this company is notorious for not giving refunds. Many times you have to call back 2 or 3 times for it to happen. To avoid this, let the agent know if you don't get your refund you are going to contact the Attorney General of your state and the Federal Trade Commission. (Follow through with that if you don't get refund)
One last note, the company can see when and what you accessed through their site so if you used features for a month and ask for a refund at the end of the month you don't deserve a refund.
I was purchasing a greyhound ticket online, and had not had a problem with my acct. in over a year. After I got a notice saying the ticket could not be purchased because of a problem with the card I checked the bank acct. nothing had changed, but noticed a monthly charge that I had never noticed before from score sense.com when I called them they claimed someone must have hacked my acct., and started the service with them. I explained I was one block from the state attorney's office, and had filed charges on someone else the govt. had been using to harass, and in the process had vandalized my property, and was being prosecuted after being caught on security tape. I told them I never contacted them for this service, and asked them who stands to profit from this monthly charge, because this scheme would have to have someone behind it pocketing the money. If not this company would not exist, my acct. would not have been hacked, and I would not be making this call to find out who this money is going to.. I said I will enjoy seeing this person in jail, and will go to the state attorney's office Tommorrow to file charges, and to the bank. These people are stealing money because, not only have I never contacted them, or anyone else about my credit. I had filed a bankruptcy years ago, and had no desire to restore my credit, other than a debit card. I explained I pay cash for everything so I knew they were thieves from the beginning. I will prosecute.
This company is fradulent. They were supposed to offer a 7 day trial and I called 11/3/2014 which was plenty of time to cancel my trial. When I saw a chrage on my checking account for $29.95 I was shocked. The charge read OTL *SCORESE
Scoresense has invaded my bank account without my permission and has deducted $29.95 per month for the past 5 months.
I am in the process of contacting the Better Business Bureau, The Atty General for the State of Texas and The Atty General for The State of Ohio. Also contacting Consumer Affairs in Washington DC and The Federal Trade Commission.
This is out and out egregious fraud and theft, and these people need to be put in jail for collusion.
They make it vitually impossible to cancel or refund the stolen funds. How are they able to access my bank account and steal these funds on a monthly basis. It seems that the average citizen is at the mercy of these shysters who are making millions at the expense of the unwary and unsuspecting consumer.
Any advise or help in stopping these perpetrators and getting my money back would be appreciated.
This company is charging to my Credit Card for five consecutive months for the amount of $ 29.95 without my authorization. I don't know from where they steal my Credit Card information but this is disgusting!!. I already contacted the Credit Card company and they sent the information to the Investigation department. Also, I am going to contact the Police to see how they can contact this company and take actions against this thieves.
I visited a website through an advertisement called Free Credit Report 360 for a 1.00. I paid 1.oo to check my credit. I was subsequently enrolled by another company into a credit monitoring program for $29.95 per month. Five months later I am checking emails and discover an email from ScoreSense. I am curious as to how they have my credit info and try to log on to the website but, for obvios reasons I do not have a password. I use my email address and reset the password. Sure enough they have all of my information and have been charging my credit card since March 2014. The 1.00 fee was there and then immediately a 29.95 fee...Unfortunately I find out to late. My mistake is not getting my credit statements to my home anymore or I surely would have caught this sooner! I certainly never intended on registering for monthly monitoring but they are swift with the way it happens. Beware beware! Lesson learned and I hope someone is reading this and can be saved from fraudalent practices of seemingly innocent transactions! Nothing is safe...assume it's a scam! Go straight to the source when trying to monitor your own credit report and scores!! These companies that are out there that request credit card info are ALL scamming us!! They operate under many different names but I do know for sure that Freecreditreport360 is part of Scoresense.
I went into my checking account this morning and discovered a charge on my debit card for $29.95 from otl*scoresense.com and it took me 20 minutes to figure out what this was for. I also discovered that I had been charged the $29.95 for the last 3 months plus a $1.00 charge a few days prior to the first charge.
I have never received a credit report or an email from Scoresense so I can only assume that this is a scam and they have hacked my debit card info somehow. After reading several complaints here and on a couple other sites this seems to be a pattern with them.
Now I will attempt to retreive the funds they absconded with and file reports here, with the BBB, Federal Trade Commission and with the state attorney general. Maybe this will help others that have found themselves in this situation.

TO: CONSUMER PROTECTION DIVISION FROM: THOMAS D HORNE I have forwarded this several times to Score Sense and still do not have my funds back. Again they were not authorized to bill me monthly. I did agree to a onetime fee of $1.00 for a free seven day look. After I looked that day I have had no other contact with them. They have refunded the $1.00 and this month’s $29.95 but have not returned the other months fees of $29.95. I will start a dispute process with my bank. I would also ask you to look into this issue on my behalf and on behalf of others that they may be charging in error. I do not believe that this is legal? Please provide me with my signature and a witness signature on a contract stating that I will be charged monthly. I do not even know what they were providing for the monthly fee. They charged my credit card $29.95 - Im not sure why - when I signed up for a credit report i made sure i went to a free credit report site, how I got to score sence beats me. I read on the website that I would be monitored for 30 days free and if i wanted to cancel i can do so prior to the 30 days - I did - then noticed that they charged my credit card after 7 days. I contacted the customer service she tried in every which way to keep me signed up even by charging me $4.95 a month - I stated I was not interested, however at this time I didnt realize i was already billed $29.95. When I did I contacted customer service, they stated they can not do anything but then stated they will submit a request and if approved they will give me my money back. I stated that was unacceptable and requested to speak to a manager. He said the same thing. Its as if they have a written manual infront of them and just repeat the exact line. I called another time and i asked for the Corporate offices telephone number, the agent gave me a number. I called that number only to find out it was still customer service and went over the whole story again and still got the exact same words. I asked the agent for the corporate offices telephone number and he stated he doesnt have one. I asked how they get a hold of them, he told me they email them at [email protected] none of this makes sense. this company is fraudulant and rips you off. Do not and I state do not ever go or sign up with any company that states you will be signed up with score sence and only be charged $1.00. Thieves. Customer care also stated that Corporate might not even agree to give me a refund. I still dont understand how they do not have a telephone number for the corporate office and why the hell did the agent give me another customer cares telephone number. Im going to call my credit card. When I told the agent I was going to contact the BBB he stated you can do so and we can argue about this all day but I nothing will happen. that alone tells you something.
I have the same story as many defrauded costumers: I accepted an offer for a "free" credit report with a $1 administrative charge. One week later I found an authorized charge on my account for $29.95 for a membership I had never accepted nor signed up for. When I called to complain the rep claimed that I had received an email which talked about a one-week trial, which I did not. He then proceeded to try to sell me the membership anyway, which was most upsetting. Finally he said that decisions on refunds were made at a "corporate level," and that I would receive an email in a couple of days-which I can be sure will deny me the refund they owe me. I am very upset about these thieves having my checking account information, as well as my social security number! No wonder there are so many complaints online.
I created a profile for "scoresense," a website claiming to offer free credit information, in June 2013. I entered my check card information, as the website requested it for a one time charge of &1. I just noticed 5/12/2014 that I was being charged 29.95 every month since then. I called their customer service number 05/12/2014 around 1pm central and a rep told me they sent me a "welcome email" informing me of a monthly charge for a service. The rep also said their terms of agreement were posted "somewhere on the website." But this doesn't explain why I authorized a one time charge of $1.00, but was charged $29.95 many times. And claiming to tell me about it is not the same as getting my expressed permission. I spoke with another rep on the same date, "Jim" badge #1114135. He said he would not be able to provide me with a receipt or statement for the charges to my account. He also could not prove that a "welcome email" was sent to me, and had no way of confirming that it was received by me. I received and email 05/13/2014 from scoresense customer care saying I will be refunded $1.00 of the $359.40 they stole from me. And I am still waiting for that $1.00 refund.
Update: as of 5-14-2014, I noticed a refund of $29.95 and $1.00 posted to my checking account. These transactions are still pending. I filed a complaint with FTC and BBB. After reviewing my statments I came up with the exact amount to be refunded minus the pending transactions when they are completed. I emailed their customer care to inform them of the remaining $299.50 that still needs to be refunded to me.
OTL. SCORESENSE a company which I have never heard of before, charged 29.85 from my charge card on 04/07/14, 05/07/14, and 06/01/14 a total of $89.55 On 06/04/14 after I received my credit card statement I notice the name of OTL. SCORESENSE but did not know who they were, so I called and spoke with someone who told me that the 29.85 was taken out of my credit card for a credit report on Jackie.
Jackie is my husband, I told the person at OTL.SCORESENSE this had been done without my permission and that I wanted my money charged back to my credit card. For some reason she agreed that the money was taken out without my permission but she would need to speak with her boss.
Two days later I got a e-mail that stated I would not receive my money back, and gave no reason. that is the last I have heard from them.
On 6/9/14 I visited the scoresense website and it said I could get my credit score for free.
I signed up and when I did I had to pay a $1.00 processing fee giving them my debit card information.
On 6/17/14 I was checking my online bank statement and discovered that scoresense had deducted $29.95 from my checking account. I called them and requested they refund me.
The representative gave me the impression that it would be refunded and he proceeding in trying to convince me to continue with the service of which I kept declining.
On 6/19/14 I get an email from scoresense stating they my refund request was not approved because I called after the seven days they give consumers to cancel.
I THINK A FREE CREDIT REPORT OR REPORTS WERE OFFERED. I DID NOT NOTICE IT UNTIL PREPARING 2013 INC TAX THIS YEAR BUT THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN CHARGING ME $29.95 A MONTH FOR THE LAST 12 MONTHS (SOME MONTHS TWICE) 9ON MY CREDIT CARD) FOR SOME KIND OF CREDIT SCORE MONITORING SERVICE. I KNOW I DID NOT ORDER THIS SERVICE AND I AM SURE I DID NOT GIVE THEM MY CREDIT CARD # OR AUTHORIZATION TO CHARGE ME ANYTHING. AS FAR AS I KNOW I HAVE RECEIVED NOTHING FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS. I DID CANCEL THE SERVICE A FEW DAYS AGO AND ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK. THEY GAVE ME CREDIT FOR ONE MONTH AND DISAPPROVED ALL THE OTHER MONTHS. I DID CALL MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY TO DISPUTE THESE CHARGES BUT THEY SAID THEY COULD ONLY GO BACK 4 MONTHS. IT LOOKS LIKE I AM OUT SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR THIS SCAM UNLESS SOMETHING ELSE HAPPENS.

Scoresense is a rip-off. I was checking on mortgage rates and happened upon a website offering rate quotes.
As I recall, they would find the best rates, but needed your credit score, so offered that for virtually free.
As I recall, they wanted to prove my idenity with a $2.00 charge to my credit card. I thought that was the end
