Brian Winchell started SAK about 18 months ago when he was "SACKED" from his old job with a much larger Flood Barrier Company out of New York. Although, he has had a non-compete clause from his previous employer he continues to deceive all customers by giving them a cheaper alternative that is not an Approved Equal. He reps multiple vendors, one is PS Doors out of North Dakota or something which does build flood barriers but not quite up to the standards of what needs to be specified. Case in point, Mr. Winchell was awarded a job in Sunny Isle, FL where he undercut the competition by a significant amount. After the award letter went out, Mr. Winchell decided to "disappear" sort o speak and did not return anyone's phone calls or emails for about 6 weeks time. Coastal Construction the GC's on the job, had to physically drive out to Mr. Winchell's residence in Parish, FL, knock on his door, and find Mr. Winchell "Malingering" to the effect that he had some kind of ailment, and that's why he didn't return any calls to the GC. Mr. Winchell was informed at that time that he would be on the receiving end of litigation of which he settled out of court with Coastal Construction just recently for: Interrupting Business Progress. He was just thrown off of another job just recently and all should be advised to steer clear of this company and one man show. Save your money.
