I was the professional mover in charge the day of your move and on the pick up all my helpers where in fact professional. Only on the delivery I was 5 hours late due to a truck scale government inspection of all commercial trucks and the law only permits me to carry only 2 person in the truck. It was in the summer and all moving companies where extremely busy at the time so.. I was trying to help by getting extra guys so that the unloading of your household goods had gone faster. The missing tv was left in the warehouse by accident which was sent to you a few days later by fed ex. I just had to make things clear
Hiring Run America Van Lines for my long distance move was one of the worst decisions EVER! I only moved 400 miles away...I've moved many times in the last 20 years and never have I had an experience this bad. First off, they didn't show on the day I was supposed to receive the furniture. They were then almost 5 hrs late the next day. The main office gave me attitude. My TV came up missing, MULTIPLE fragile, antique pieces were shattered, along with many pieces of my furniture damaged, some destroyed! It was ridiculous! I paid an additional $800 to have them pack up my items, warning them to take extra care with the fragile items (which I had set aside intentionally). They sent one professional mover with 4 additional men they picked up at the local Home Depot! They admitted this to me! At one point, the pro guy said he had to take them back to Home Depot because that's what they were promised. Each got paid $100 in cash and sent on their way - in the middle of my move! No wonder they didn't know how to pack or handle furniture with care. It was crazy! Even after calling and complaining to the main office, they didn't want to work with me. I will never recommend them to anyone. The name fits well: "Run America" and never look back!
