On 10/14/1992 My now wife and I became " Master Distributors " for a company called Fantasy Power Boats ! The owners were Jim (the father ) and Paul Spivak . They were making what they called the F13 . For $5,995.00 you would get Boat , 40HP Motor & Trailer . They were going after the Jet Ski market where " You can sit in it not on it safer ". So Carrie and I were all in. We allegedly had ALL of Pennsylvania WRONG!!!!. Then on our own we ran adds in the National Yacht Trader . First 1/2 page black and white add with just the F13. Then we came out with the F16 which I helped make the mold. So We ran a full page color add on the inside cover $ ! . People were calling us from all over the United States and more. The way we got paid is If we sold a boat we got $1.000,00 . If we set up a dealer and when they sold a boat we got $500,00. And when the dealer that we set up also set up a dealed under them and they sold a boat we got $250,00. We had people set up all over the planet . We would fly people into Pittsburgh pick them up and take them over to the plant to see the boats sign them up and also put them up in a hotel on our dime ! The big problem was we would set up all of the deals then Fantasy ( The Company ) would take the deal and say that they in fact set up that deal ! BS!! I still have signed contracts dated 7-1-93 for the F13 and the F16 for the following . Australia , New Zealand , Tasmania , Fiji , Papua New Guinea ,Singapore , Taiwan , Philipinnes , Hong Kong , Thailand , Japan , Mala-sia , Indonesia , S. Korea , India , China ! This was just 1 of our deals that we would have made $1000,00 per F13 and $1,500.00 per F16 boat this was a 400 boat plus deal. So you see why when we saw the name Paul Spivak we got VERY UP SET!!!
