I was scammed by this compulsive liar too, and lost thousands of dollars. Every small business owner or boutique owner whether it is dog products or human clothing items need to be made aware. If you order a product, you might get it, but it's not made in Canada, it's made in China, which she lies about. If you try to hire her for private label services, she'll talk a good game, demand upwards of $15,000 via wire transfer ONLY, and you'll never see a single thing for your money at all.
She's been reported and sued repeatedly, so be careful! She also likes to make fake names for her many fraudulent business licenses and listings (Quebec doesn't make you prove the person actually exists before registering an enterprise. I asked them myself). She steals the photos of people, offices, factories and products to make herself look legitimate just long enough to con someone, then she's off to the next victim.
She also invents imaginary friends who will reply to your e mail the moment you realize you've been scammed as a way to try and avoid taking any of the blame. Libby Waltz is her favorite imaginary friend, and she'll mercilessly kill those imaginary family members, too. "Oh, Libby couldn't e mail you back because her dad died suddenly.." (He's died 3 times now that we've confirmed).
Lina Asselien sells imaginary manufacturing services (She owns no factory as claimed) then demands wire transfers only, thus stealing the person's money and never providing any service at all.
It's no different than your typical Nigerian scam.
She has 4 known victims so far, and if you're looking for pet product manufacturing, BEWARE!
