I got the worth experience of my being treated as bad as it can get, I was lied to by their Manager Igor Usin (found out from several of my close friend he has very bad reputation with handling money-collects deposits and does not pay all of the money to Romanov. I got very suspicious when he started to ask and almost demand all cash upfront when I found later the actual restaurant policy for NY eve party was 40% deposit and balance to be paid bt 12/25/14) then I spoke and texted with co-owner Mickey, he right away agreed on the phone that Igor indeed has bad reputation with owners and owes them money and that I was right not to give him cash. He called Marina and she accepted my am ex and co check gladly. Then Igor got involved again and I found out they cashed my $800.00 check for the 2015 NY party after they already cancelled my reservation ~ 1 week before, using some fabricated reason(too long to explain), and never apologized for it. They were rude and unprofessional, I have never typed a single complaint or bad review online since my arrival to US in 1979, this is the first! I know many people in LA's Russian community, I have participated in many larghe and samall parties in every Russian restaurant since 1980. I have never experienced anything like this! Shocking and sad! I felt compelled to let other potential and current clients know so they don't experience the same terrible treatment as I have.
