Routine was the same as all the other posts about this scam on the Ripoffreports site. We had an extremely fast talking never took a breath baby faced youth from out of town offering us up some questionable ID, eager to improve his communication skills through this summer sales job and accumulate points for a trip to Europe from questions you answer about yourselves. Looking to do high fives and get all out warm and friendly and thoughtfully would put a nice sticker on our door to ensure none of his friends would come a knocking again. Shucks, all the points we helped him accumulate only count if he sells us one of the dubious magazine subscriptions for cash or check made out to Rockstar Subscriptions Agency PO Box or alternatively we could donate a subscription to a local children's causes but we were sufficiently wary to check the name out first online and chase him away. Looks like they hit up Chicopee, MA in the last few days too:
" Chicopee police warn residents to beware solicitors going door-to-door and claiming to be with Rockstar Subscription Agency..."
2 young men in their early 20's [one named Devon Faglia from Carlsbad, CA near San Diego] solicited magazine subscription at my door this evening for gifts to Overseas Armed Forces . . . I game them a check for $45 [eg., $35 = $10 processing] & received Rockstar Subscription Agency receipt. Besides subscription Devon noted he would receive ~$5-$10 credit plus receive points towards an awarded vacation package this summer. Seemed as if legitimate but unsure . . .I will monitor but I am looking for further current feedback??
