Well don't call Rockalock! They are an Internet Only Company serving California. My husband and I returned from vacation to discover that we were locked out of our bedroom. We have one of those door knobs that does not have a key, it has that tiny hole in the middle of the knob. In the past we've been able to insert a straightened paper clip, clothes hanger, ball point pen and the lkes into the opening to open the door. Well this time that didn't work so we Googled a locksmith. The first ad was Rockalock.
The dispatcher said someone could arrive at my residence in 30 minutes. The charge would be $15 to show-up and $35/hr. When the technician ""Moses"" and Roberto or something to that effect arrived, he looked at the door knob and said this type of lock would be $50 for the house call and $160 to open the door.
My husband threw him out. We Googled again and came up with VETERANS LOCK & KEY. My husband told the technician over the phone what the problem was, the technican quoted $40, came out, opened the door in 3 seconds and was on his merry way.
He shared with my husband what type of flathead screwdriver to buy, my husband paid the $40 plus a $10n tip and that was that!
Stay clear of ROCKALOCK...they are dishonest con artists!
