This guy name Robert D Palomino, goes by “Dino” claimed that he “built”house and addition before, even had it advertised on his truck, license CRC1330393, but did REALLY SHODDY work, collected money and ran off the project! Much worse he left my house water damage all over and even had a gut to “lien” my property!!! He claimed that he had license but soon will be suspended after I report to the Florida State Licensing Board!
First. he low bid to get in, explained the reason it was low cost because he would do the job
But the fact was he lives paycheck by pay check, has no money to buy material up front, not hiring enough crew to do the job..showing up late at work and leaving early continued taking money...claiming that job “almost done”....
When I was aware of his lack of management skill, not enough crew, job not being done on time, I consulted other professionals/contractors, who informed me that job not only next to nothing done but also wrong shoddy work....then this guy left work site real fast, using intimidation tactic (knowing that homeowner would want to get job finish, work with him to come back to finish), also using excuse that I did not pay him enough, to demand more money in order to come back to work; Much worse, he had his worker contacted me to ask for more money...claiming that he would be someone “to handle paperwork from now on!!!” Good thing that I was not that stupid to give money to someone that I did not have signed contract with nor having license!!
Palomino continued using intimidation tactic, having an attorney to write me letter originally claimed that the reason he suspended the job because I didn't pay, but when I asked him to issue a billing invoice he could not, simply because he could not account what the invoice for. When I submitted proof of payments which I paid every single time he issued the billing invoices to both of his attorney and Consumer Protection Agency, his story then changed to the reason he abandoned the job because I was complaining too much!
Of course, I had noticed his lack of management skill, lack of labor work, and many other misconduct behavior, therefore I brought them up to his attention and/or record in the activity log. I also have all the text and documents proven that I never once curse or speak inappropriate beside bring up things that need to be addressed in professionally manner.
After he left I have interviewed 10-12 contractors, most of them were not willing to take over the project because not wanted to take over the liability. For those who would take the bids, came back double even triple compare to the original price due to the fact that Palomino bid was not only way low to begin with but also they have to fix the wrong code work done by this guy before they can move forward!!!
Beware of this guy. My battle is soon be rectified and settled but I would prefer to let others know so you can prevent this from happenning to you!
When I purchased the Lowes 4 year Service Advantage warranty for my Samsung front-load washer and dryer in Oct 2010, we were told that if Lowe's could not fix it, they would replace it. Our brand new Samsung washer and dryer stayed in storage for six months while our house was being built. We started using them in May 2011. After about 4 months, we noticed that our clothes smelt horrible. They were all moldy, regardless of how many times we washed it. We contacted our sales rep in Aurora, CO who stated that we need to make sure we keep the door open when not in use and to use Afresh HE washer cleaner. I also went to Samsung's website to see what they recommend. After the next three years, we left the door open and detergent tray open when not in use. We have also used vinegar, bleach, Afresh and Tide's HE washer cleaner.
No matter what we do, no matter how many times we clean the washer, to include wiping out all of the black mold we can get inside the tub, around the seal and in the detergent bay, and doing all the things Lowes and Samsung told us to do, black mold keeps coming back. Over the past two years, my wife has been riddled with heath issues but no one in the medical field can figure out what is causing it. My wife is the one that does the laundry and is constantly exposed to the black mold.
After 3 years of honest due diligence and following what were told, I contacted Lowes Service Advantage and they stated that I had to have a service tech come out a see what the issue was. The contracted Lowes Service Advantage tech came out and stated that it was a Samsung design flaw that doesn't allow for proper ventilation when not in use. He stated that he could replace all the parts on the washer but in 6 months, it would be riddled with black mold again. He said it is not worth fixing the unit. In fact, he recommended never buy Samsung appliances in general.
He relayed his diagnosis back to Lowes Service Advantage and their response was that nothing is broken so they will only replace ruined clothing. Contrary, a design flaw is a broken unit. Go ask GM and Toyota. I do not hold Samsung responsible to deal with this issue because I am out of their one year warranty, hence why I purchased the Lowe's Service Advantage Warranty. At this point, Lowes Service Advantage is in breach of contract failing to honor their end of the extended warranty and Lowe's is peddling fraudulent warranty services.
I have no recourse but to sue Lowe's and Lowe’s Service Advantage. Lowe's for fraud and Lowe's Service Advantage for breach of contract.
