Out of the blue I have a $95.00 charge from this company and have no clue were they got my name! They would not answer my calls and when they finally did they tell me it's for CDs!!! I didn't order CDs in the mail! In 2008??? Really??? Who does that? Anyway they can't give any more info, told me it was from 2008 and was sent to SC (I lived in SC) and told me if I paid for it they would take it off my credit. First if all I have excellent credit and pay my bills, second, I will not pay bully collectors for things that are not mine. As a matter of fact I see they have done this to many people so I would like to see if anyone is interested in filing a class action law suit. If so, my email is (((redacted)))
No I NEVER purchase anything especially a FREAKIN CD! What MORON is running this company to even THINK anyone uses CD's. I'm reporting this company and disuputing the charges with the credit report companies as soon as I'm done posting this. They will not get away with this on my watch. They messed with someone who actually has a little common sense and will not sit and watch them get away with it! I've done my work with other companies and was successful and won't stop there!
No way ,am trying to rebuild and pay my debt from my Credit Report out of the Blue this stupid ,bizarre agency came on my credit report I owe $104 what is this .I WANT THIS OUT NOW AND NOW .because am going deeper with this.
I also checked my credit report and saw this company has put a charge on my account. I don't even own a cd player so I know I have not ordered cd's. Has anyone had any luck getting it removed from their credit?
I dont know what this debt is that I supposly own of over 2300. I am totally in a lost here. I havent receive anything from anyone. I feel I am a victim of fraud.
I checked my credit score to find RMG SYSTMS listed as a charge in collections. I called the number listed with their information and was told that it was a collection for a CD club (order 10 or something, subscribe and get monthly cds). I believe he mentioned Columbia House being the club. I told him I'd never ordered anything like that, I do not do cd clubs (or any clubs for that matter). Also I do not have a credit/debit card so it'd be hard to put down those numbers to be used to order. He asked if I lived at my current address, I told him yes. He said he would happily remove this from my credit score but it would cost me an additional fee, that had to be paid today. I told him I understood he was trying to collect what he thought was a debt owed, but again, I had not ordered anything. He told me at that point that it was years ago (though suspiciously I've received no cds and no letters in the mail regarding this since, I believe, 2010) and perhaps I'd forgotten.
I said no, it would be rather impossible to order a subscription when I have no credit or debit card, and it would be a bit silly of me to pay for items I had never received. Could I please have the number to the company that was filing this charge. He then told me that he had all the information there so there was no need for that. I said that there was, because I had not purchased anything and I would need to know what method was used to make the purchase in my name to start with. He again repeated that he had the information and I could pay or not, it was my choice and I could let him know how that worked out for me. I replied "wow... well, I can see you have quite the unreceptive attitude." I told him again it was absolutely silly of me to make a payment to a company, any company, which I did not purchase items from and I was a bit surprised he was not more professional and friendly in his attempts to help. He then told me that he hears the same "old song and dance every day, 'I didn't order that!', and that everyone says so." I told him that I understood that, of course people deny buying things, but the very fact that I was being patient, and calm, and not yelling or arguing or being in any way rude would have, I thought, at least entitled me to be treated professionally. That all I wanted to discover is how the charges were made, which he could not tell me, so I would need to contact the company to discover that, but that since he was set upon acting in such a manner I would, as he said, take my chances and let that know how it worked out for me.
It's a debt of $136. That's hardly enough to lose sleep over, but it is an invalid debt. I don't purchase cds any longer, I haven't since they started being available online and I got internet in 2000. So, no, I am absolutely sure I did not under any circumstances purchase cds. Nor did anyone else in my home since I'm single. I've never received cds at my home. I buy them from itunes, same as pretty well everyone else in the US these days.
The fact that they could not tell me how any payment was made, they could not give me any details of what was actually purchased (just "cds") and that they wanted me to immediately make a payment to them over the phone was all incredibly suspicous.
I have worked hard to clear up any outstanding debts and have been free and clear for several years. I have watched my credit scores rise significantly over the past several months.
I checked my credit report this morning. My husband and I are about to be approved to move into a home. My score has dropped 30 points in the past week. Why??? Because RMG Systems Collections has put a negative mark on my credit report with Transunion in the amount of $115. I do not have any outstanding debts and have never heard oft his company. I notice the reviews of this company are 2 1/2 stars and have read this company is fraudulent in their claims.
I am angry and pray that this error does not cause us the loss of the property. If so,..............
