I took my 2004 Dodge Durango to the service department in 2014 because my truck had water leak in to the fuse box and caused the truck to short out. The maintenance guy called me a few hours later and said that the problem was that the drain lines from the sunroof were clogged and needed to be cleaned, also that the fuse box needed to be dried out I paid over $300.00.
I took my truck home and used it for a while, I then went to wash it and as I was in the car wash the truck started shaking and it turned off in the middle of the wash, I had to get it to turn on so I could drive it back to the dealer. I was told then that it was the battery and the spark plugs so I had a new battery and new spark plugs another $400.00.
Again I went home and when it rained one day the stereo and lights turned on by them selfs and a clicking noise was heard on the fuse box, so I took it in again, this time they replaced the cowel.
Yesterday 06/08/15 I took in again because of the same issue, this time I was told I had to replace the sunroof and that it will cost $600.00.
Every time a new reason is given to me for the problem and every time I pay for the repairs to that problem I am not going to replace the sunroof, I am going to pick up my vehicle and find some legal way to get my vehicle repaired becasue I feel that I did not need to do all the other repairs, and I was told each time that that was the reason for the leak and in fact it was not.
