Not being familiar with how insurance works, i did some googling. The first thing i searched for was information on Obama care.I visited , obamacare-guide.org/texas/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=obamacare%2b-%2bexact&utm_campaign=texas&gclid=Cj0KEQjw1pWrBRDuv-rhstiX6KwBEiQA5V9ZoZx2Yc0NkZVrcMzpLWdwFAwW5A9Gvasqqwl_iY3y6I8aAuY18P8HAQ and called 844-682-3674.I spoke to a man who claimed his name was Richard Landis and he provided me with a direct line different from the company website(855 797 8595).First red flag. He gave me quotes and was adamant that i sign up very soon. He failed to tell me that there would be an initial cost until i asked. This is odd because if i qualify for a goverment assistance plan, i would first need to apply, than once that application is approved, than comes the initial cost.He explained that if my application wasn't approved, i would be refunded in full.Another red fleg.As soon as i said well i will call back next week once i have the funds, he hung up.Third red flag. You're not selling me a car, so there's no reason for you to be adamant about me getting insurance right now.No body cares that much, they will advise you of what they recommend because that is their specialty, but they won't be pushy about paying for a government assisted plan up front and than hang up as soon as you say you don't have the money. Be careful with this website.I think i was redirected to a scammer named Richard Lanis who was eager to make a quick $81.
