Rich Holland painting was hired to paint my house.
When I asked about getting paint from Sherwin Williams & was told that he prefered to work with Miller Paint. In Addition, because my home is 3 story's above grade I was asked to rent a lift so that the crew could reach areas at the top. Most contractors provide this as part of the bid. I was given a bid for $8500. there were some changes in paint and colors.
At the end of the project I was given a bill for $17,000., Double the bid price. I paid the bill as soon as it was givin to me in full.
Within a year all the paint started bubbling up in big pockets all over the house. I made several calls to Rich Holland Painting that were not returned after several months had gone by they finally sent a guy name Dallas, that worked for Rich Holland Painting came over looked at the problem & said to my face that "Rich Holland Painting did not have the resources or the want to fix the problem. I contacted the CCB & they said that the clock had run out ont what they could do to help get the repair. So, I spent my money hired an attorney & sued the company for money to repair the bad paint job. It also turned out that Rich Holland Painting was not licensed to work on Lead Based Paint. My home is built in 1904 so it has Lead based paint.
My lawsuit was settled & Rich Holland had to pay me to help with the cost of stripping my home so that I can have a more reputable company re-paint it.
Rich Holland Painting represented by Brend Dee Holland is now saying that I sued them be cause I paid thier bill & decided that I was broke & needed the money.
I am saddened that they will trash me as BROKE as it is not the case. If you see below they must be Broke!!!!
