My doctor recommended Family Sleep Diagnostics for reasons unknown to me, as i used my doctor for over 20 years, so i am very disappointed that he would refer such a shady organization. It took me weeks to schedule the sleep study. Office is only open once a week, phone calls not returned, and people that you end up talking to are very unprofessional.
After weeks of agony, and waiting on my supplies, i was told that "my supplies were assigned to Rhema medical" and that I need to contact them. Rhema medical asked me to come to their office to get my supplies. I was told it would be 15 minutes. I went. 2.5 hours later, i left with only the mask. The reason: I am supposed to get my supplies from another company in the Rotech family, Sleep Central :-(
Both Sleep Family Diagnostics AND at Rhema medical failed to let me know that when i made the appointment. The office I visited, was more like a warehouse. The people there were moving around in "literally" all directions. it took 2 hours to exchange one fax with the doctors office (I have to say Veronique was the only person that kept me sane, as she did really try to help, the system was stacked against her)
When I arrived home, I checked what i was charged. WOW. For the mask i got my insurance company was charged $470 (my 20% was $90.) The same complete mask (Resmed Airfit F10) sold on Amazon for $70.
