We were offered a cruise, a 3 day/2 night getaway and airfare for two adults if we sat through a 90 minute sales presentation. We completed all paperwork within the required timeline and sent 3 checks for deposits. While personal checks were accepted for cruise and getaway we missed the fine print that a certified check or money order was required for the airfare so they voided the offer without exception. They also conveniently did not communicate to us so we could send them a certified check until after the deadline even though they had phone numbers and email. While these may be legitimate offers I would be sceptical when dealing with this company and be sure to read the find print. Our first request for a date for the cruise has been denied. We will see
NOT SURE IF THIS IS A REAL DEAL OR NOT. IIG PROMOTIONS OUT OF LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ. SO FAR THE COUPONS ARE CONFUSING AND NOT WHAT I EXPECTED.
I HOPE THIS IS A REAL PROGRAM. I USED A FOOD GIFT CARD AND PAID 3X'S WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE. RESTAURANT.COM IS OK BUT THE RESTAURANT WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL. IIG PROMOTIONS IS HOPFULLY A LEGAL COMANY, BUT WE WILL SOON FIND OUT BY CHECKING WITH THE BBB BEFORE JOINING THE VACATION PLAN. I HATE HIGH PRESSURE PRESENTATIONS AND WILL NOT GIVE UP MY HARD EARNED MONEY SO FAST!!!
We sat through a time share presentation and were given a "free trip" we expected to pay taxes and fees. The process to actually get our certificate was confusing and we had to follow up numerous times (i.e. wait on hold for hour). When we finally got our "trip" we were required to pay $1,200! I went online (expedia) and picked the exact same hotel, exact same date and was able to get roundtrip from exact same airport for less than their "free" deal!
They claimed that it was a holiday and that is why it was so much. I told them what I did and they claimed: "you are responsible for governmental taxes and fees associated with using this promotional certificate"
Not sure what sort of 'deal' they are giving, but DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
We were invited to this seminar for a free Kindle tablet, a$100 restaurant.com card and a 3day 2night stay at a location they provide for us to choose from. We never got any straight answers and their computers were "conveniently" not working roperly so they couldn't show us exactly our savings. When I said I only wanted the free gifts the man got real mad at us. I knew this was probably a scam of some sort but its kinda fun messing with them n=and getting them upset...
I thought it was too good to be true....and it sure was! We were invited to attend a seminar and earn a FREE Cruise and 2 Airline Tickets. All that was required from us was o follow the instructions on completing the travel request documents and send a RERUNDABLE deposit. I think the companies make it impossible to ever complete the process without making a mistake and Voiding the whole certificate!
We reeived a letter today stating that our certificate was Null and Void because we sent the depsit in the wrong order! It states to refer back to the certificate for terms and conditions where it never states at what point to send in the deposit, just a bunch of warnings that if they don't receive your deposit, the certificate would be void without exception!
What a joke! I don't think that however the process is done by a consumer, the company will find any reason to render the certificate Null and Void so they never have to honor what they have promised the consumer. Too good to be true? Why of Course!
Don't purchase. They make this offer sound so good (too Good) and trying to get answers to enquires is like trying to pull teeth. They tell you to be patient and the Cruise certificate will be mailed or sent to you. They pull money off your cc quickly but never send documents that are required. Do not purchase if you haven't yet.
