One of my retirement services account changed ownership and it was an account I do not check too often and when I found out about the transfer I realized that RCH had been charging me a monthly administration fee that had added up to hundreds of dollars. When I called to explain my situation all they could say was, "Oh well, there is nothing we can do about it". When I asked them to escalate the situation and I talked with who was supposed to be the manager, all the manager would say was, "There is nothing we can do, may I help you with anything else?" A company should always gain approval from a customer before charging any monthly fees. It shoyuld be the law that they need authorization. Needless to say I closed this account after being disconnected three times in a row after being on hold for a long time each call. One of the calls I said, "I'd like to cancel my account", and then "click" they hung up.
