I paid for a 4 night/five day stay on 7/13/15 for a 5 bedroom/4 bathroom vacation home for a group of 10 adults/2 kids for the time frame of 7/17/-7/21/15, the amount was $936.92.
I had to make numerous calls to get an email receipt for this payment. I finally got it on the 7/16/15. On the morning of 7/17 on my drive to Florida (I was driving from Atlanta), I received an email stating that my vacation reservation was cancelled and the money was refunded to my debit card.
I immediately contacted George Gomez and he stated it was an error and he never send an email or cancelled the vacation reservation. I tried numerous times during the 6 hrs trip to contact him, even using alternate telephone numbers to get him to answer my phone calls.
About 30 minutes prior to my arrival to the address he called me and stated that he does not have any room for me and my family to stay. We had to pull aside in a car park and try to find alternate last minute location for our family.
I contacted Bank of America on Tuesday 7/21/15 to see if any refund was being processed since the money had not being returned to my account.
The Bank of America personnel contacted George Gomez by phone and was informed that the money was placed in the bank on 7/20/15. As of this day 7/22/15, there has been no money replaced in my account. Bank of America has issued me a temporary refund pending investigation.
