On 9/28/2011, I entered into a contract with Forever Grand Vacations LLC of Branson MO. This was for a discounted travel and vacation packages. Their guarantee was that if we ever wanted to sell the package back to them, we could do so at a price not to exceed the original cost of $2850 and it would be sold in less than a week.
ON Oct 7, 2013, we decided to sell it back, Upon contacting Forever Grand, we were told by Randy parker of "Grand" to contact Tim Bricker at 1 800-995 9294. When I got him at Resort Solutions, he said they would sell it but that there was a pre-paid $399. sales fee, which I paid. He told me at the time that the current value was $4500. I told him, I would accept $3000.
From there, things just went downhill. The sales contract was non-expiring. I first called for an update on 1/17/2014 and was told I was asking too much, so I told them to sell at whatever the market was. After repeated calls during 2014, on 9/2/2014, I told them to sell for any amount. My last contact was 10/21/2014 -no inquires, but their telephone Rep said there were so many negative internet postings, that nothing was selling.
On 3/26/2015, I attempted to contact them again at their 1 800 977 9294 contact number. All I ever get is a recording saying leave a message, which they never call back,
I went to their website where my Property ID number MO10071304,was supposed to be listed. No such listing.
Between the initial $2850.00, the $399 sales fee, and the $300 2 years of Travel to Go annual fees, I have $3549 "invested.-wasted is a better term.
Not knowing the timeshare business very well, I had a week in South Carolina at the Church St. Inn that I could not make. It was within 30 days. I contacted Resort Solutions and spoke to Tim B. I felt in such a hurry and due to my poor lack in judgement, I paid $399 to have this company advertise my 2 bedroom unit for May 4, 2014- 7 days. Listen to your gut!!!!! After two weeks I spoke to Tim again, just after speaking to the customer service department (which is horrible). I was told that no one has inquired about the property and if anyone did I would be notifty. I asked Tim about the information I found on the internet, after I had paid. He said that they are being confused with a different company. I have since learned, the hard way, that they must be the same. My advise would be to stay away, do not pay the $399 and find a place that does not charge you to rental your timeshare. Or at least contact your timeshare customer service and use their program that they have.
