ResellerRatings.com Reviews

We found out from this website last year. As there are a protion of angry or false customers we asked reseller rating to remove our store as we never added it.

Not only did they not respond. They removed whatever positive feedback we did have, or customers changed in a resolution taking place, but they say in order for us to respond react, etc we must pay this site up tp 2,000 usd a month.

Genuine customers have left positive-- they removed. The more you contact the more they push it right beneath your store on a google search.

no way or contacting, no way of responding. This is not ethnical. We should be able to respond to our customers. And if negative feedback is left they MAKE us know it by emailing us in hopes it angers us enough to pay. some arent even real customers of mine as we cannot find record of incidents happening anywhere......

ResellerRatings.com is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. They increased our monthly rate by 300% without any notice other than an email with this increase burried in it at the bottom. They claimed that they were entitled to do this due to their terms and conditions. What is so ironic is they are supposed to be a steward of transparency and reliability and they engage in such deceiving practices for merchants.

Additionally, they require a merchant to pay to be included in their service to solicit reviews and if you stop paying them, they remove those reviews. They have certainly crossed a line of moral solvency in my opinion.

I would never use this company again and they should be ashamed of what feels like extortion to merchants.

I'd love to help you!

If you're sick and tired of being extorted by sites like this, then please feel free to contact me. Myself and my circle of business-owning friends were sick and tired of being taken advantage of by sites like this, who feed off our desperate need for exemplary brand reputation!

We created YouGotRated for people like us.

It's so much more than a review site, and no matter what you decide, your positive reviews are never removed or throttled down!!!

What most people don't realize is that ResellerRatings charges merchants hundreds to thousands of dollars per month if they want to respond or know anything about individual complaints. So what happens is if you pay, then you can respond to customers and get negative reviews removed. If you don't pay, then a site's average review is going to be much lower because the negative reviews will be anonymous and you can't help the customer or get it removed. Do a test yourself. Pick a few merchants randomly in the same category and sort them by average review.

Then look at which merchants have paid (They will tell you which ones are paid) and you will notice that in almost every case the ones with the highest average are the paid ones. Now, you could make a case that the higher rated ones care more and that's why they pay and are better, but for a small business $600 a month to handle 2 or 3 reviews a month is a huge cost, so it may not be because they don't care, they might not be able to afford it. Ask yourself if it makes sense that a random selection of companies would have higher ratings based solely on whether they pay resellerratings.com and then ask yourself if you want to continue to trust their ratings.

Our company has been victimized by this company in this way so we put a link on our website's order completion page where we have thousands of orders per day and tracked how many people clicked it. Over the course of two months not a single review showed up on the site despite over a thousand clicks. We've done similar things in the past since we trust that we are doing a good job and want people to review us good or bad and the review to click rate has been around 20%, so we should have had dozens or hundreds of reviews on resellerratings.com, but not a single one showed up. Then another anonymous negative review showed up a month after we took down the link, so we know that people can review us. I believe that not only do their practices bias against sites that don't pay, but that they don't display positive reviews unless you pay. Either way, just their stated practice above is enough to warrant a report here.

Reseller Ratings Ripoff Scam

Resellerratings.com is engaged in organized crime against merchants. Google is also now involved in this scam as well.

Fact: Reseller ratings allows ANYONE to post a negative review against any merchant without any verification at all. Reviews that are totally bogus by ex employees, competitors, or anyone that is angry at you go unchecked.

If you are a merchant you must pay nearly $200 a month for the authority to counter any of the complaints OR collect good reviews from satisifed customers.

If you do have postive reviews on thier website, they either willingly or negligently allow ONLY negative reviews to show up for paid Google merchants who are advertising via PPC and paying for each click. This is illegal and needs to be stopped. Let's get a class action going against them!
