Hairstylist listened to what I asked for, repeated it back to me. I showed her photos of what I had and what I hoped my hair would grow out to in the near future. I showed photos of styles I thought would work in between my old cut and what I aspired to in a hairstyle. Instead, she made sure she kept me in a position where I couldn't see what was going on in either mirror and she chopped my hair to bits. It will take a year to grow out to the length it was when I walked in their door, instead of being a few more months for it to be shoulder length. This is like my hair was vandalized because it's not what I asked for or paid for.
It looks like a bad chemo wig now. If you remember the film "Steel Magnolias" with Julia Roberts, there's a scene in it in which she gets her hair cut really short at the salon just before she is to have a kidney transplant. If you took that and mixed it with the Beatles moptop, that is the hairstyle I was given. If it made Julia Roberts look horrible, then you can only imagine how bad it makes a non-movie star look. For someone middle-aged with my face shape, it makes me look deranged and my face look like a balloon. I had business meetings the next day, so it was also horrible for my career.
Now I will be facing the expense and upkeep of extensions which I will have to get at another salon and which take hours to put in properly. I'm trying to get a refund from Regis to put toward the price of the extensions. My hair looks like it was assaulted. It's just horrible.
I want to start by saying , I am from Charles Penzone. This is one of the top rated Salons in USA , Columbus Ohio. That being said I went to Regis salon for a hair cut and it was OK. Its located in Crossroads Mall. My hair cut was ok then I went back to book a perm. I like my hair curly!
I went got the perm about 30 days later my hair went straight , and was damaged. The rods were loose and put crimps in my upper hair. I also ran into a girl at the tanning bed and she said they highlighted here hair and it turned orange. I went back and she gave me a bottle of jel, lol. The friend went back and they gave her allot of products. This friend sent me to another Salon and I had to have most of my hair cut off.
That being said a true fact I'm not to sure how you can find a quailty Salon in Minnesota , at the price I was charged this should not of happened . Im guessing they use bad product's and the people there are not well trained.
A perm from Charles Penzone last over 1 year and they have never damaged my hair. I wish now ,I would of just flew home to get my hair done. Im older and ok with this, but i am aware that it effects younger ladies more deeply so beware of anything more than a hair cut at This SALON , I Rate it a #3.
