Regina Leader-Post / Postmedia Network Inc. Reviews
Jul 5, 2014
Postmedia's Journalist, Barb Pacholik, of the Regina Leader Post, appears to be in a lot of trouble, or soon to be, over her deliberate breach of the sub judice rule of court -which does not allow anyone to publish or make public any statement of a legal proceeding that is currently being deliberated on. Pacholik and Regina Leader Post Editor, Marlon Marshall printed several ONE-SIDED, unbalanced, incomplete, inaccurate stories of which all depicted just what they perceived to be the strengths of one side in these civil legal matters. This is a huge no-no when matters are being deliberated on, and Marshall and Pacholik did this not just once but several times.
Pacholik, with the guidance, contribution and permission of Regina Leader Post Editor, Marlon Marshall, and FCAA legal director, Sonne Udemgba, all breached this sacred rule of court numerous times since October 2013.
Word has it that several firms in Ontario are all over this and will helping the respondents with many a law suit against the lawyers, journalists, editors, etc involved in this breach. What is even more sickening is that we were informed that the respondents wrote to Marlon Marshall, to the Regina Leader Post's lawyer (William F. Johnson of Regina law firm Gerrand Rath Johnson) and to Postmedia's in house legal counsel Brenda R. Lazare informing them of said breaches and instructing them to immediately remove the stories/articles/ blogs in breach of this court rule, and every request was dismissed and ignored.
