We were sold an aqua pro system from Reflex energy. The salesman seemed very knowledgable and trust worthy as he spoke about the product and how it would benefit our family because we are new home owners and have a child and are about to have our second child. He lured us in by telling us how dirty our water was and how it is contaminated for our children by entering our pores and our food. He proceeded to inform us that we would be saved me money because they provide coupons and soap supplies for the house hold that were organic and safe, (which we have yet to recieve) That we would be purchasing the water filter for $3990 at a payment of $40 a month for 5 years which we felt would fit out budget with our first child the new home and our second child on the way so we thought it would be a great thing we would be doing for our family especially our children.
He proceeded to make an appointment for the installation which was don't horribly and the technician had to come out a second time to install a longer hose to be put it properly and safely, he received us very rude and unprofessional and then came without supply's or tools. He then invented a way to put the hose using our tools and had to come out a third time to provide the hose he didn't bring the second time. We were just over the man with his rude comments about loosing money by coming out to do his job when we went to fix the hose we realized he stole our tools that were lent to him to do the job the second time he came. We then were being harassed by phone calls from the company asking if we were happy and we told them that the worker/ installer was unprofessional and rude that as long as we didn't have to deal with him ever again it was fine. "We should have known then" the head ache and nightmare it would become.
So the seller then proceeded to come to my home when my boyfriend was at work wanting me to sign the contract because since the system was installed it needed to get signed ASAP so he pressured and manipulated me into Signing my boyfriends name on the contract because the process needed to start and they couldn't wait. He was in a rush so he skimmed through the contract saying we had 30 days to decided if we were happy with the system when it was actually 3, I naively signed not realizing the mess I was getting into. So I received the first bill turns out the system will NOT be $3990 because the interest rates were high and the system would actually come out to $7300. If we only paid the Minimum of $40 within 10 years but if we wanted the system to come to $4000. We would have to pay $132. A month Within 3 years which we were told it would be paid in 5 years . Mind you we were never inform that.
I tried calling the company left 3 messages finally a Rick called me which was the supervisor I told him we we not happy with the system let along the customer service or how we were treated as customers. We called within the 30 days and we also found out the system cheaper somewhere else But He proceeded to tell me it was not his problem the contract was signed and he didn't care. Then he said if we didn't want the system we would have to pay him $2000 for him to take it back?! Talk about taking advantage of people' I mean I was baffled and the " frustration " I then called the finance company to explain they then proceeded to call the reflex energy talked to them they told them they can out to my house 5 times they have service records recording and that we turned them away when they have never been to my home since installation or even have the decency to call me after I have been trying to contact them for a whole month leaving 5-7 messages I asked to hear the recordings I was denied and I was told we would do a conference call because they weren't speaking to me anymore but my boyfriend which he states they have not called him in anything. I have never been so insulted and taken advantage of like this in my life....
