We live in Iowa and purchased a 5 kilowatt wind generator from Re-Driven. This unit did not perform anywhere close to the specifications and continually broke down. Now we are left with nothing and were told we would just have to "eat it" by the contractor who installed it as ReDriven is not a company anymore.
This unit came with a 5 year warranty. What does that even matter now? This unit cost me money, even though the Iowa wind energy fund did help with part of the loan. Is there anybody out there who can help with this? Is there any recourse other than being out $ 28,000? Where can a person even begin to get parts, let alone be able to afford them? ANY ideas or advice on legal recourse would be appreciated.
