Reddaway delivered and damaged a customer freezer when It fell off the liftgate. Pro # 5701190417. They also forged the customers signature as the bill was free and clear. They claim the customer damaged it as the customer was putting it in their pick up truck. If that ws the case why Reddaway sent it back to the shipper. Customer witness the driver lose control with his pallet jack and unit fell from his liftgate. When they were delivering it to their home. Now Reddaway is will not pay the claim.
Reddaway proudly brags about it's 98% on-time delivery record and how they promise to deliver it at the time scheduled. That's a great intention but isn't what I experienced in dealing with this company. I had scheduled the delivery to occur between 1pm and 5pm. I had a crew standing by to accept the very heavy package (around 400 lbs) but they never showed up. The driver finally showed up after 6pm and made some excuse about someone being sick (if they knew someone was sick and they had to change the schedule why couldn't they contact me to let me know?)
I told the driver the only other day I could receive it was the next day and he told me he would tell the scheduling department. Today I got a call asking me when I would have it delivered and that they could not deliver it the next day (today). When I asked them about their promise -- they told me the only remediation was to reschedule.For what it's worth the woman I spoke to was Cherie and she wasn't in the slightest bit apologetic.
If timing matters and you value your time this might not be the right shipping company for you.
