Realty Constulants has been one of the worst experiences my family has ever had to endure.
My husband was transferred to the Prescott area very suddenly and we were given 3 weeks to move. I had to find a home and school within in 2 weeks so that we could actually move to town the third week.
I contacted Faith (owner and broker) about one of her properties. I traveled into town to give her a deposit for the application fee. She knew I was arriving....I arrive at her office and had the unfortante interaction with her secretary/receptionsit Kevin. Kevin was horribly rude and arrogant. After I gave him the check I asked if Faith was available because we needed to see the home (before we rented) and she knew I was going to be in town. Instead of a positive and helpful response he told me that I really should have made and appointment and that I could try "but she never answers her cell phone or checks her voicemail." His behavior should have tipped me off at that moment. I explained that I traveled to town for the day to view the home and a new school and setting an appointment was not possible. He merely handed me her card.
We have now been in this rental for approximately 6 months and nothing has gone well. Windows have fallen out on me, they don't lock, repairs are not scheduled and Faith repeatedly throws everyone (owner of the home, contractors and repair men) "under the bus." I can never get a hold of her on the phone. I must give her the legal time limits in emails in order to insure the repairs are done. When I confronted her about the condition of the home her response was "I recieved this property one month before you moved in...This is the owners problem." Repair people have shown up at this home at 750am with no notice. When I asked why I did not recieve a call they said Faith had given them the okay. I had recieved no notice. I again confronted Faith about this problem and she blamed the repair company. She takes days if not weeks to respond to emails or phone calls...each time I recieve an excuse; I was at the dentist, it was my anniversary. I understand everyone has obligations and vacations however when you don't allow your staff to work with your properties than the tentants will get aggitated.
She treats us like a burden even though we keep the property in great condition. I have never been treated so horribly and I have never experience and such a property managment company. Faith takes no pride in her work. She has no crediblity. If you are a home owner looking for a property management company find a different one. If you are a tenant...RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION!
