Be aware of Real Property Management East Valley (RPM). signed up with them Nov 2012. Had all kinds of problem.
1. sales agent told me they put ads on craigslist.....found out later they don't do it because the type of people that respond to ads are not very good.
2. sales agent made mistake about gas heat....tenant moved in....did not turn gas on because paper work said no gas....tenant / child got sick....had to go to doctor. tenant angry.
3. key lock box was used instead what mention by agent and their website.
"Be present day of tenant move in to set standard of involvement" on the website is false.
lock box not there....mover/painter on their way. upset tenant again.
4. when tenant moved out, management advised me to go after tenant in court. Since tenant left, they can't evict her.
"Enforce policies and house rules" on the website is false.
"Deal with late payments, partial payments and no payments" on the website is false.

5. when tenant moved out....RPM told agent to go check the home...ask me if she need to call for cleaning. did not check to make sure everything in the home was missing anything...found out the garage remote missing....blind valance damaged....
6. owner email RPM about the garage remote ....but no one respond....
7. talked to RPM about collection....was told by manager she will filed ....a month later...contacted collection...file not in system....
8. when collection get the paper....found out no application attached....collection thought i put tenant w/o application and screen....i have all emails saved during the whole process.

took company 3 business days to finally email me tenant SS# and DOB and 2 weeks to finally sent me her application so i could submit to collection.
9. "Dedicated to making your investment profitable and enjoyable." is false... We loss $$.
10. upset with their response...some time i had to reminder people there...1 week response? or 2 wk? or none at all. if they treat owner like this...how will they treat my tenant?
I rented a property from this company for a year and when I signed the lease I thought that this company was going to be better than my last.... I was wrong. A few months in we had maintenance issues that needed to be resolved and every time we tried to get a hold of them they would not answer, or we would leave the maintenance request and would never hear back from them. When I moved out they never told me or the company they use that takes out rent every month that I was no longer living there and needing to pay, so come April 1st, my account got charged $1300 which got reversed because i called but got charged many NSF fees, which when I called them to try and get that money back due to something that I did not think was my responsibility to do, it took them many calls from me to respond and they were very unprofessional in saying that it was not their fault. I mean what is their job then, apparently they do not do much.
We moved out at the end of our lease and I made sure that this time I would get my whole deposit back, so I scrubbed the house from head to toe. I thought the house looked better after I cleaned it than the day I moved in. I got my deposit back which was suppose to be $1000 and had over $300 taken out for patching a hole that was an inch wide. They will charge you a ridiculous amount of money to do a job that should have cost $50. I tried to discuss it with them and they hung up the phone saying they do not have time for me anymore. They will rip you off to put money in their pocket. I recommend not renting from this company, but if you do make sure that you do not leave a nail in the wall or anything otherwise they will OVER charge you and you will never see the money again. This company is unprofessional and very disappointing. DO NOT RENT FROM REAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT!!!!
