Was a customer of RBS WorldPay since 2011 and back in Nov/Dec 2013 we contacted them to find out when our contract was up so we could entertain other merchant service providers for lower rates. The sales person never told us about the 3 Month Cancelation Notice that was required, the Automatic Renewal if not canceled within this period or the $495 early termination fee. This appears to be a common practice of theirs.
I requested a copy of the contract that they had on file to compare to my copy and noticed multiple changes were made to their copy without my knowledge. Entire lines were changed, boxes now checked when they weren't before (Assuming this is why the Sales Agent (#20910) was terminated within days of me signing the contract). When I called 3/2014 to cancel and try to explain the discrepancies in the contract I was told that I still had to pay the ETF of $495 even though the contract should be Null & Void at this point. If they are bold enough to make changes to the signed contract after the fact, can you imagine what they are doing when they draft their fees?
I would NOT recommend RBS WorldPay to my worst enemy!
