Michael Raven is a total con man and a thief! He promised to sell my $9,000 watch for me.... he sold it alright but kept the money. He has stories a mile long and they are all bullshit. Don't buy into his lies as they will not come true. He is always on verge a big deal and it never comes. Stay clear of this guy!!
I moved in with Michael after finding an add on craigslist for a (illegal) sub-let room he was renting out. I paid him my deposit and also paid him the monthly rent, as did the other roommates who were subletting from him. Turns out he was keeping the rent, and wasn't paying the landlord. He got kicked out, and all the roommates had to find a new house. I believe one roommate sued him. I am still owed thousand for my deposit.
As someone who lived with him, I can attest to the other stories of how he would make endless excuses to his client (as they would often come by the house). He is a liar, scam artist and thief. Do not trust him.
He let me borrow jewlery about a year ago since I am a celebrity and I used it for an upscale event for charity.
Several people noticed it and a jeweler came by and looked at it and I told him this diamond jeweler let me borrow it and looked at it carefully and said it was a fake! He told me it was worth 1.6 million dollars and I was on red caroet telling photographers that this was Michael Raven jewelry and it's worth all this $$$.
Well when I returned it to him and told him story of how I found out it was fake he started crying and gave me this sob story of how he was dying of cancer and wanted to kill himself and he was about to lose his home. Stupid me I wrote a check to him for $4500 being Miss nice......he said he would pay me back when his deal with Mariah Carey would come through.......stupid me yet once again - he lied and I nver got money back - however after some private investigators I hired - here is his lawyers info ALEX....

In January 2014, I asked Michael Raven if he could make an engagement ring for me. He said he would be honored to and promised me an amazing ring for the price I was prepared to pay. I gave Michael Raven 4 payments totaling $4,050.00 to make an engagement ring for my girlfriend. After the last payment in March 2014, he started giving me excuses that his mom was sick and he couldn't finish the ring in time. This went on for 2 months of him ignoring my phone calls and texts. I finally told him that I couldn't wait any longer because I was planning on proposing to my girlfriend but needed a ring to do so. I asked him to just mail me the unfinished ring in pieces so that I could have it finished here. I also told him that once I had the pieces, I would still pay him the full price that we had discussed dispite all his excuses and delays. I haven't heard from him since. Please don't give him a dime! He will gladly take your money, promise you the world, and give you nothing in return but excuses!

I ended up just buying a $1900 dollar ring in June 2014 from the Shane Company and me and my Fiancé are happy to just be done with Michael Raven and are excited for the future to come! I just hope that Michael never gets the chance to steal from anyone ever again. He is a horrible person and deserves to be thrown in jail for all of the people he has hurt!
